About Our Organic Farm

Our nonprofit, Heal the Earth, a 501(c)(3) social enterprise, has launched Adopt an Avocado Tree — the first program of its kind in the U.S. The initiative allows people to adopt an individual avocado tree at Wild Acres Farm and share in its harvest of certified organic, hand-picked avocados.

Our long-term mission is to expand this model so that other regional farmers can use the same Shopify-based platform to sell their harvest directly to consumers. This direct-to-consumer approach strengthens the financial stability of local growers and supports the farming communities that have, for generations, made our region known for producing some of the best-tasting avocados in the world.
