1. Choose Your Adoption Level
Select the adoption tier that fits you—California Tree Adoption, Avocado Harvest Partner, or Avocado Grove Steward. Each level supports San Diego’s family-owned organic farms and connects you directly to your own avocado tree.
2. Complete Your Adoption
After checkout, you’ll receive a link to name your tree and (optionally) share the story behind your adoption. We’ll use this info to personalize your certificate and your ongoing updates.
3. Meet Your Tree
You’ll receive a digital certificate with your tree’s name, its exact location on Google Maps, and a photo from the grove. This marks the start of your one-year adoption.
4. Follow Its Journey
We’ll send quarterly updates with photos and notes from the farm—how your tree is doing, how it's cared for and what’s happening on the farm throughout the seasons.
5. Receive Your Harvest (If Included)
If your adoption level includes avocados, you’ll receive them in seasonal shipments—each shipment containing one dozen premium, best tasting, certified-organic Hass avocados.
We are currently offering free shipping on your avocado shipments. When your avocados are ready, you’ll simply choose your preferred delivery dates.
6. Renew or Continue the Legacy
Your adoption lasts one year from the date you purchase your adoption. At the end of the year, you’ll have the option to renew and continue supporting the farm that grows your tree.
