When you adopt a tree through our Adopt An Avocado Tree program, you're not just supporting sustainable agriculture—you're becoming part of Wild Acres Farm's story. Here's what to expect during your year of adoption.

The Avocado Season

Our organic avocado harvest runs from November through late June each year. The organic avocados you receive through your 2027 tree adoption will be available during this seasonal harvest window. This means you'll begin receiving shipments once the season starts and will continue throughout the growing period as fruit becomes ready.

Think of it as experiencing the natural rhythm of farming—you'll receive fresh avocados when they're at their peak, not when the calendar says it should be.

Your Year of Adoption

Your tree adoption is a one-year commitment that begins the moment you adopt and runs for one full calendar year from that date. During this entire year, you'll be part of an exclusive community of tree stewards.

What's Included in Your Year:

Farm Visits
You're invited out to Wild Acres Farm to meet your adopted tree in person. Visit your tree, walk the orchards with our farming team, and see firsthand where your avocados are grown. These visits deepen your connection to the farm and help you understand the care that goes into every fruit.

Progress Updates
Throughout the season, you'll receive updates about your tree's progress. Learn about flowering cycles, fruit development, harvest timing, and the overall health of your adopted tree. You'll stay connected every step of the way.

Fresh Avocados
As your tree produces fruit and the farm harvests throughout the season, you'll receive shipments of fresh, USDA certified organic avocados directly from Wild Acres Farm. You have the ability to schedule when you want to receive shipment of your avocados.

What to Expect in Your Avocado Boxes

Wild Acres Farm cultivates a variety of avocado types throughout their orchards, each becoming available at different times during the growing season.

Here's the important part: We can't guarantee any specific organic avocado varieties in your shipments, as availability depends on what's ripe and ready to harvest at the time of your order. However, we can guarantee quality and generosity:

• Minimum 12 USDA certified organic avocados per shipment
• Approximately 8 pounds equivalent of fresh fruit
• Always from Wild Acres Farm, grown with care and sustainable practices

Every box represents the diversity of the season and the natural variation that comes with real farming. You might receive organic Hass avocados one month and a different variety the next—that's the beauty of supporting a working farm.

Renew or Continue the Legacy

Your adoption lasts one year from the date you purchase your adoption. At the end of the year, you’ll have the option to renew and continue supporting the farm that grows your tree.
